Mediation is an effective , and peaceful method of conflict resolution being an alternative to go to court.
It is a voluntary, fast, flexible and absolutely confidentialprocess that is tailored to the people’s needs.
The mediator, a neutral and impartial expert withspecific training , conducts the process promoting understanding and dialogue between and accompanies the parties to design their own solution to the controversy in order to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement for both.
In Spain, the Mediation is regulated by the Law on Mediation on Civil and Commercial Matters No.5/2012 and in Catalonia by Law 15/2009 on Mediation in Private Law. This legal framework recognizes the validity of the Mediation space as the BEST WAY FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION.
